At ACME Associate Inc. Ltd we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting

practices regarding your personal data in line with the terms of the UK General Data Protection

How will ACME Associate use your information and the legal basis for processing your data?
ACME Associate specialises in the consultancy market within the fields of construction, engineering and
utilities. We will only use your personal information legally as outlined in the UK GDPR. Most
commonly we will use your information in the following circumstances:
- For the performance of a contract to which you are party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
- Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.
- Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (and those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
- Where it is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or someone else’s vital interests.
- Where you have consented to processing.
What information does ACME Associate collect?
This is information about you that you give to us directly. You may do this by filling in forms on our
website, or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. Information that you send to us
may be stored and processed by ACME. This will include emails or other electronic messages and any
documents, photos or other files stored on or processed through our secure systems and devices.
Information we collect throughout our relationship. We will accumulate information throughout
your time with ACME. This could include information such as employers, location, working hours and
other relevant information. The type of information we may collect, but not limited to:
- Identification information- Name, title.
- Contact details such as address, telephone number, mobile number, email address, skype address.
- Employment/contractual related information- job title, company, business contact information, CV, business insurance, payment details for invoicing.
- Other data which we may notify you of from time to time.
Who will your information be shared with?
- Where information is shared with third parties, we will only share the information required for the purpose it is being shared.
- In the event that ACME Associate is ever sold as a going concern or enters into administration, the database of clients and prospects shall be deemed an asset of the company and the consents and permissions provided by the data will be transferred to the new owner.
- If ACME Associate are under a duty to disclose or share your Personal Data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply contractual terms or other agreements; to protect the rights, property of ACME Associate, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and prevention of money laundering and credit risk reduction.
How ACME Associate securely store and keep your information?
All personal information and files are retained on a secure cloud server within the UK. ACME Associate
have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent personal information being lost, used or
accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Access to personal data is limited to those
employees, agents, contractors and third parties who have a business need to know. They are
subject to a duty of confidentiality and will be processing personal information under instruction
from ourselves only. Further details may be obtained from the DPO.
We may transfer your data outside of the European Economic Area. We will only do so with your
knowledge and permission and if adequate protection measures are in place in compliance with data
protection legislation. We use the following measures:
- Transferring to Commission approved countries;
- Using Commission approved contractual clauses;
- Requiring companies to whom we transfer data to be signed up to appropriate certification;
- Transferring when one or more of the conditions set out in article 49 GDPR are met.
How long do ACME keep hold of your information?
ACME only hold your information for as long as it is required for the purpose it was collected. In most

What ACME ask of you
ACME ask you keep your information accurate and up to date. If your personal information changes,
for example, your name, address, contact details that you inform ACME as soon as possible to ensure
your information is kept accurate.
What are your control and rights?
ACME Associate take your privacy seriously and will only ever use your personal information to administer
your account to provide the service you have requested from us or that we can offer you. You may
exercise your rights at any time. To process your request effectively it would be helpful if you would
contact the DPO in the first instance.
You have the right to opt out of receiving newsletters and other communications from ACME Associate.
Under certain circumstances, by law, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data
- Request correction of the personal data
- Request erasure of data
- Object to processing
- Request the restriction of processing
- Request the transfer of personal data to another party.
